        Peter McAllister's portrait

        Peter McAllister

        Managing Director, Ireland

        Peter graduated from Ulster University with a BSc in Computing in 1995. He held many roles with companies in various sectors before joining McAllister as operations manager in 2001. He was responsible for McAllister’s drainage operations in Ireland – planning and coordinating Jet-Vac, tanker, and CCTV units on a project-by-project basis and measured-term projects for key clients. 

          

        Peter became company director in 2005 and oversees all elements of the business, with a particular focus on the island of Ireland. He is actively involved in identifying new market opportunities, developing existing client relationships, and exploring new innovations in the environmental services sector.

        Leo McAllister

        Group Director

        Leo joined McAllister Bros. Ltd in 1993 and was appointed Operations Manager for the company in 1998 to oversee the company’s growth in surveying services. In 2005, Leo was appointed a Director for the company and has been instrumental in championing the applied use of No-Dig technology including UV CIPP lining, Robotic Cutting and Pipeline Rehabilitation.  

          

        As Group Director, Leo oversees new product development, finance, health & safety, and environmental controls. In 2009, he established McAllister offices in Bahrain and Oman to offer trenchless services to firms and governments within the Gulf Cooperation Council. In 2010, he opened McAllister’s London offices to serve a growing client base across Greater London and southern England. In 2020 Leo formed McAllister Specialist Construction Ltd to introduce a new range of services into the group.

        Dan Watson

        Managing Director GB

        Dan started with the company in 2003 to strengthen McAllister’s abilities within trenchless solutions. Dan has a wealth of knowledge in tunnelling and HDD and also within the realms of CIPP lining, as he led our rehabilitation division for almost 10 years.    

        Dan also helped the company set up and successfully deliver complex works in the GCC in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain.  

        In 2012 Dan moved to England to setup the company’s operations in London. Under Dans leadership the company has grown from 4 staff to over 85 staff in 2021, with this growth set to continue. 

        He has made McAllister one of the leading trenchless solution companies in the UK. In 2021 Dan became Managing Director of GB and oversees company development, finance, health & safety, and environmental controls.  

        With a passion for innovation and pushing the realms of capability, Dan is very much looking forward to future years in the industry he loves.

        Kevin Woolf's portrait

        Kevin Woolf

        Head of Operations GB

        Kevin started out in the environmental services industry in 1980, working for Maximain Ltd, where he pioneered new lining technology for 100-150 mm pipelines. Maximain Ltd were  a licensee to a parent company called  Nuttal Permaline who were at that time the only CIPP Company in the UK . He worked on innovative projects across the UK until 1986 when Maximain joined forces with Waterflow Services to launch Formapipe, which licenced these innovative technologies to companies around the world. He travelled as far afield as Singapore and New Zealand to assist his clients with both technical and training support. 

        Kevin joined McAllister in 2015. He coordinates the movement of plant, labour, and materials between a myriad of projects. Among his many responsibilities, he leads several teams in our Horton office, conducts site audits, and liaises with clients on a daily basis to ensure all projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently to meet with the clients expectations.

        Sean Gregory

        Group Head of Finance

        Sean joined McAllister in 2016 originally as the company accountant before being appointed Group Head of Finance. Previously Sean was Agri Business Finance manager at Moy Park, working alongside managers to drive revenue growth and profitability. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009, and having over 10 years post qualification experience, Sean has responsibility for all things finance related, and works in sustaining the company’s financial platform, for its next chapter of accelerated growth and innovation.

        Siobhan McAllister

        Head of Administration

        Siobhan graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Dublin Business School in 1994. She was a participant in the Premiere Graduate Programme, working in multiple placement roles across various business sectors.  

        Siobhan worked for six years in recruitment with Premier People and Grafton, setting up Grafton's Newry and Dundalk offices. She joined McAllister in 2000 as an HR Officer.  

        Today, Siobhan has responsibility for administration, overseeing all invoicing, administration systems and procedures for current and new contract awards.

        Philip Chislett-Trim

        Head of Contracts and Commercial

        Philip joined McAllister in 2017, bringing over 30 years industry experience to the role of Head of Contracts & Commercial.    

        Beginning his engineering career in the public sector, he transitioned to an operational role at Thames Water working on a series of special and international projects.  

        Joining the contracting sector in 2001, Philip has held numerous operational and commercial roles with industry leaders including Veolia Water and Insituform Technologies, being an early adopter of UV cure sewer rehabilitation techniques within the UK Market. 

        With a passion for sustainability, Philip is a Chartered Environmentalist, a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager and is registered as an Incorporated Engineer. 

        Sinead Clarke's portrait

        Sinead Clarke

        Group Head of Human Resources

        Sinead graduated from Ulster University with a BA Hons in Business studies and an MSc in Human Resource Management. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). She has worked at director level in local government, as Head of Human Resources for US and European multinational manufacturers, and as a university lecturer. 

          

        Sinead joined McAllister in 2021, taking responsibility for people strategy across the entire organisation. Her purview includes culture and engagement, reward, performance management, recruitment, succession, and talent development. Her leadership helps to create a supportive environment in which our people can develop and excel in their work.

        Catherine Watson

        Senior Administrator

        Catherine started with McAllister as an administrator in 1994. She took a hiatus to complete her studies, graduating with a BA in Human Resource Management from the University of Northumbria and an HND in Business Studies from Newcastle College.

        Catherine returned to McAllister in 2003, spending the next few years establishing our Belfast office. This vital role helped us to manage the C665 project in conjunction with Meridian Group. In 2012, Catherine moved to London and was instrumental in establishing our Horsham office. She oversees many business functions, including logistics, internal audit, training, HR, and our health and safety systems.

        Ruairi McGuigan's portrait

        Ruairi McGuigan

        Head of Operations (Ireland)

        Ruairi holds a BSc in Geography and a MSc in Environmental Planning, both from Queen’s University Belfast. He has over 10 years’ experience in operational management in the environmental services sector, with a focus on operational efficiency, process management, and continuous improvement. 

        He joined McAllister in October 2019 as a contracts manager, responsible for delivering a major contract for Northern Ireland Water (NI Water). Today, as Head of Operations, he oversees the operations management teams, subcontractors, and call centre functions across the NI Water portfolio. As part of this work, he implemented new technology to give NI Water full visibility of their network. He is also operations manager for a major framework contract for Irish Water.

        Brendan Rooney

        Head of Commercial (Ireland)

        Brendan graduated from Liverpool John Moore’s University with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. He worked for BAM Nutall, SIAC Construction, Laing O’Rourke, and Bennett Construction. He joined McAllister in 2009. 

        Today, he is the Head of Commercial (Ireland) and responsible for the commercial project management, subcontractor procurement, estimating and bid management across the island of Ireland. He builds strong and long-lasting partnerships with clients by providing innovative solutions that address their specific needs.

        Gabriel Serrano

        Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) Manager

        Gabriel provides advice and guidance on environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. Prior to this, he held key positions as the Director of Environmental Affairs and as an Environmental Consultant at SERGAB Environmental Consultancy in Manta, Ecuador, where he successfully carried out environmental impact assessments, obtained environmental permits, and formulated long-range plans for environmental programs.

        David Paul

        Operations Manager GB

        David joined McAllister in 2014, bringing 15 years of experience from his time at Maximain and its successor, Waterflow. He is responsible for the operational management of our vehicle fleet, plant and machinery. He organises our personnel across all of our projects and manages small projects including quotation & delivery.

        Project Manager

        James joined McAllister in 2015 and has strengthened our planning process and management of projects through his industry experience and winning attitude. James has more than eight years' project management experience honed within the private, public and utility sectors. Before joining McAllister Group, James worked for several companies within the civil engineering and wastewater industries, including UKDN Waterflow and Barhale. This wealth of experience and expertise ensures that our projects run on time, on budget, and exceed our customers' expectations. James has recently been involved in the successful delivery of a number of high profile projects for Thames Water, Tideway and HS2.

        Justin Watson

        Business Development Manager

        Justin has been working within the construction/utility sectors for 25 years. A majority of this time was spent with Morrison Utility Services (formally Morrison Construction) in various roles from administrative through to management. The roles covered many contracts such as water, gas and electric finally progressing into a Business Development at a regional basis. During this time Justin not only developed a full understanding of construction methodologies but also took on a number of formal qualifications which included a highly recognised Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with the Open University.  

        Justin recognises the importance of strategic business planning, relationship and brand management he took those skills to AEGION (Insituform) to develop and deliver a long-term strategy for pipeline rehabilitation.    

        Now working at McAllister, Justin has been instrumental in developing and defining business strategy for both sort and long term and has combined his knowledge of construction methodologies and pipeline rehabilitation to identify new opportunities within the sector allowing for greater direct delivery.   

        Justin is also responsible for tender management from identifying future/current opportunities, creating a bid strategy, coordination, writing through to submission.
